Dec. 7th, 2005 08:17 pmWent to bed last night sometime after 2:00. Woke up this morning sometime after 5:00. Already a recipe for failure.
After I woke up I went to the bathroom and did bathrom stuff, which included washing my face. After washing my face I noticed that the water was not draining. It never drains. Never. I can use an entire bottle of Drain-O and it'll flow better for a while... until I shave. Once I shave, it's clogged again. Water won't drain, or drains extremely slowly. So once the water had drained (and it took a while for it to do so) I checked out my drain plug. It could not be removed because of its construction, so I couldn't see into the drain ery well. What I could see... was hair. Lots of hair. So I took some needlenose pliars and tried to pull the hair out. I couldn't get the hair. So I decided to take the fucking drain apart. Keep in mind, I am not a plumber. My attempts at plumbing fail.
I found a large wrench so I could crack the seals on the pipes, then got to work. Making sure I had a very large bowl under the pipes to collect any water that might have collected, I removed the pipe. The stench that followed was killer. It was truly awful. A chemical/alcohol/boozy/mung odor. Amazing. It takes a lot to make my stomach turn. This made my stomach turn. But I held it together. Once the U-pipe was off, I was able to see the pipe that hung from the bottom of the sink. There was a small tuft of hair hanging from it. I tugged on it... and out came ( this. )
The lining of the pipe was covered in that, and I had to clean it all out. It was... okay, I rarely fall into Bill and Ted-speak, but it was truly heinous. And... this was very anticlimactic.
Lost is in reruns again. Bastards need to keep on a schedule. Other shows can produce an entire season of shows in a pop. Why not Lost? Maybe because of the setting? Hm. Who knows. Any way you cut it, t's gonna be a friggin month before any new episodes and that annoys me to no end.
